This week we re-visit OutLoud and follow some of our sports teams on Winter Tournament week. We catch up with the first alumni reunion held in Auckland and celebrate our former students’ successes at Te Herenga Waka – Victoria University of Wellington.
The Wrap Up is back, and in this mega wrap we share Toi Māori’s kōwhaiwhai inspired sign for Taka Kai the WHS canteen, and share details of the canteen’s Kindo app launch. We celebrate School Library week, share successes in Mathswell, Poetry Aotearoa, Japanese speech and Underwater Hockey, and join in celebrations for musical and sporting successes, both at home and overseas.
This week the Wrap Up brings stories of success at the national Toi Wearable Art competition, the NZ Cyber Security Challenge and World Scholars Cup. We welcome the new International students who joined us in Term 3 and shout out our support for the Persian Food and Dessert fundraiser taking place at Newtown School today.
