Luminary Wellington High alumnus Troy Ruhe (2007 – 2011) has gained a prestigious Maori and Pacific Island Entrance Scholarship to Otago University worth $10,000. Troy won the Peace Prize in 2011 as a Year 13 and made an amazing contribution to Wellington High as a Tuakana leader, musician, and scholar in his time here. In 2012 he worked as an in-class support person with Year 9s and 10s and made a big difference to many of our junior students.
