What’s happening?

Visual Art portfolios

Visual Art students at Wellington High have been working hard to produce some pretty exciting artwork. Due to Covid restrictions we were unable to invite you to the actual exhibition, so we have put together slideshows of each year level taking NCEA for you to enjoy. We have chosen not to name the portfolios on purpose to respect those who want to keep their work anonymous.

Level 1 Art and Level 1 Art Digital

Level 2, Design, Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Printmaking

Level 3, Design, Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Printmaking

November Garden Update

The garden had its summer crops planted last week, and the students have been weeding strawberries, adding the compost (made by the students) to the garden beds. The Rhubarb harvested was used in the crumbles made for Vincent de Paul meals.
