Year 9 & 10 Progressive Achievement Tests (PATs) Weeks 4 and 5

Information about the PATs schedule during Weeks 4 and 5 for Year 9 and 10 students.

Year 9 and 10 students are taking four Progressive Achievement Tests (PATs) during Weeks 4—5 (beginning 18 February) in their core classes.

PAT tests are used to provide baseline information about the year levels in Maths, Reading Comprehension, Vocabulary and Science. The results help teachers understand needs and design learning so we can support students. Students do not need to prepare in advance. Results are not published on reports.

All Year 9 and 10 students must ensure they have a laptop with them as the tests are completed online. You can view the schedules for the tests here.

If your child is absent on the day, Faculties will offer another opportunity to complete them. Learning Services will contact families directly where appropriate.
