  • Student writers published in ‘Re-Draft’ a national collection of best student writing, national finalist for the Bell Gully National Schools Poetry award and the Star Sunday Times short story award, win the VUW Fullbright Writing competition, win of the Office of the NZ Dictionary national prize for best Y13 research into changes in NZ English; winner of the second prize and another entry is commended for its innovation. Janet Holmes, lecturer at VUW, commented that she wishes her Level 300 students produced work of this standard.
