SHAKESPEARE & DRAMA

The Wellington Higpolaroidpecoveredh School Shakespeare Society is not so much a performance group as a culture, complete with its own traditions and rites of passage. The fantastic thing is that the ownership of this culture is solely in the hands of the students, past and present, who have poured their hearts into the Society’s work over its 25 years.  This year, they are taking on Taming of the Shrew.

Tickets are on sale from Student Services now!

The Drama department also has shows coming up.  Keep an eye on The Weekly Wrap Up for more information but put these dates into your calendar now:

  • 7 – 10 June : Year 11 Plays
  • 14 – 16  June : Year 13 Theatre of the Absurd
  • 20 – 23 June : Year 12 Play
