Cricket Success

Congratulations to the WHS Cricket Champs who won the junior/intermediate 8 a side 20/20 cricket grade.

They went through the season unbeaten against teams from St Pats Town, St Pats Silverstream (2) and Hutt International Boys (2).

In the final on Saturday they defeated HIBS Y10s, scoring 103 for 7 and bowling HIBS out for 70, winning by 33 runs.

A great effort from a team where everyone contributed with runs, wickets or catches.
