NCEA Scholarship Results

Shakked Noy

Kasey McDonnell

Students from 2015 were awarded 18 Scholarships and 5 Outstanding Scholarships. In Year 11, Shakked also received a scholarship for Calculus taking his total to seven.  Kasey McDonnell also performed with distinction being awarded three scholarships.

Chinese Dance Workshop

On Tuesday during Period 4 andphoto2 5,  students who are studying Chinese were treated to a Chinese folk dance workshop in Taraika in conjunction with Chinese New Year.  For those studying a language, it is also important that the culture is also understood and this was an excellent way of doing that.

The performers are from Xiaman, China and are a professional dance troupe.  They will also be performing at TSB Bank Arena this weekend.
