Outstanding Year 13 Morgan Christy-Jones has achieved a Gold CREST for her work in creating a product using tagatose- a sweetener derived as a by-product from the production of cheese. She was mentored through her project by Professor Steve Flint, Massey University and Marietjie Van Schalkwyk, Food Technology teacher extraordinaire. Gold Crest awards celebrate advanced projects, for Year 12-13 students and take 6 Terms to complete.
