This year, the Post Primary Teachers Association (PPTA) co-hosted a Video 2 Vote competition with the Tertiary Education Union and the New Zealand University Students’ Association to help engage young voters and reverse the trend of a low turnout of young voters. The winners of the secondary school category were Lewis Wong and Rose MacKenzie from Wellington High School.
