Laboratories at Victoria University in November.

They experimented with light, sound, vision, and lasers in Physics.
In Chemistry they made Ooblek, Flubber and Marbled Milk. The students were excited and enthused by the Hands -on  demonstrations, the amazing experiments and the weird and wonderful science
on display.

The high points for the switched on students included the mysterious 'one way' mirrors, the light locked in optical fibres and streams of water and the diffusion glasses that revealed the hidden spectra of  elemental light.

The take home packs were studied and worn and the halls of Wellington High were abuzz with the excitement of students taking real lab experiments at our sister universities.

The bounce of flubber down stairs, crazy diffusion specs and ooblek stained hands were testament to a great learning and extension opportunity provided in partnership with the Chemistry and Physics Professors and their wonderfully helpful departments at Victoria University
